Continuing Education Courses

PhysicalMind requires Certified Teachers to renew their Pilates certification every two years. Keep track of completed requirements and submit this CEC Renewal Form with all supportive documents.  Teachers within the United States will receive an updated teaching certificate via USPS mail about two weeks following submission.  Those located outside of the United States will receive an electronic copy of the certificate.  Those outside the United States who wish to obtain a paper copy, please contact julia@themethodpilates.com.

Complete ONE CEC for Mat/Standing Certification for two additional years.

Complete TWO CECs for Apparatus Certification for two additional years.

**Those teachers certified in Mat, Standing & Apparatus must only to complete TWO CECs every two years.

Certificate Renewal Options:

I. Home Study Courses (worth 1 CEC each):
Visit our online store to read about and purchase all home study courses. Submit CEC renewal form plus $35 fee along with each completed exam (send check or fax credit card info).

* Nutrition 101 (Diet Directives required). Nutrition Exam.
* Body Biz Novel. Body Biz Exam.
* Tye4 Resistance System. Tye4 Exam.
* Osteoporosis: Exercise Protocols. Osteo Exam.
* Gait Analysis Manual /DVD. Gait Exam.
* Business Course Manual. Business Course Exam.
* Golf and Pilates Manual. Golf Exam.
* Pilates Protocols Manual. Protocols Exam.

II. Publishable article (worth 1 CEC each):
700-1500 words with brief bio and at least two photos/diagrams. Email to joan@themethodpilates.com. Submit $35 fee with CEC renewal form. Will appear under Articles.

III. Institute Course/Workshop (worth 2 CECs each):

* Evolution 101 (for teachers that have completed Initiation 101)
* Evolution 201
* Evolution 301
* Concentration 201
* Concentration 301

IV. Pilates-Related Workshops (worth 1 CEC each):
Submit CEC renewal form plus $35 fee per workshop plus proof of course completion. (send check or fax credit card info).
